The actions taken have helped to strengthen the capacities of member cooperatives, improve production, and promote better agricultural practices for the benefit of producers. This success is yours too. I would like to express my deep gratitude to all our partners, notably SOS Faim Luxembourg, to the national authorities, and to all the members and staff of the union for their constant support and commitment. The partnership between USCA and SOS Faim was characterised throughout 2025 by smooth collaboration and sustained support for capacity-building among member cooperatives. At an operational level, regular communication and mutual availability facilitated the agile management of field activities. Strict adherence to contractual commitments by both parties enabled tangible results to be achieved:

• The acquisition of essential equipment: tricycles, motorbikes, rotary tillers, photocopiers, etc. The purchase of weighing and measuring equipment (weighbridges, moisture meters) was strategically planned to coincide with the harvest period in order to optimise its use. Purchase of small-scale equipment to improve the quality of agricultural products brought to market.
• Community engagement: the resources mobilised facilitated the launch of priority initiatives, notably training and awareness-raising activities. Eight facilitators, four technicians, and three members of the USCA team were trained in agroecological practices (the principles of agroecology and the production and use of biofertilisers and biopesticides). These individuals will subsequently train 10 cooperatives comprising more than 200 members.

• Governance: USCA ensured transparent management by regularly producing technical reports and supporting documentation relating to expenditure, thereby strengthening the relationship of trust with producers. Eight facilitators, four technicians, and three members of the USCA team were trained in agroecological practices (the principles of agroecology and the production and use of biofertilisers and biopesticides). These individuals will subsequently train 10 cooperatives comprising more than 200 members.
