Our financial and human resources
SOS Faim's
For over 30 years, SOS Faim’s mission has been to work towards transforming agricultural and food systems by funding and supporting organisations committed to sustainable family farming and by promoting responsible food consumption. None of this would be possible without the generosity of those who choose to support our organisation. The support of our private and public donors is invaluable, as it enables us to take action.
This year, SOS Faim has been able to count on the generosity of 2,125 donors. This outpouring of generosity has enabled us to raise €611,956.34 in private donations. Thanks to extremely rigorous financial management over the years, SOS Faim is in good financial health, which allows it to look to the future with confidence. We thank you sincerely for this.
Local authorities, foundations and non-profit organisations
By supporting the work of SOS Faim, Luxembourg’s local authorities, foundations and non-profit organisations are effectively combating hunger and poverty. In 2025, 22 local authorities supported SOS Faim with a total of €91,870, including Differdange (€82,300). Numerous foundations and non-profit organisations contributed a total of €18,000. These included the NIF Foundation (€16,500) and Diddeleng Helleft (€1,000).
Corporate partners
By supporting SOS Faim, many companies are putting their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at the service of the actions of SOS Faim and its partners. In 2025, the generosity of 20 partner companies enabled us to raise €10,650.
Your trust demands our transparency. The association’s financial statements are audited each year by an independent auditor (BDO) and published in the Registre de Commerce et des Sociétés (identification number: F554). SOS Faim goes further by using a range of measures to guarantee transparency and to ensure the proper use of the funds you entrust to us. They are also available online on the SOS Faim website: www.sosfaim.lu, in the ‘About us’ section.

SOS Faim's human resources
As a non-profit organisation, in accordance with the law, SOS Faim has a General Assembly (GA) currently comprising 48 members. The GA approves the strategy, the audited annual financial statements, the allocation of profits, and the budget. Every two years, it elects a Board of Directors (BoD). In 2025, the BoD consisted of five directors: Céline Depiesse (Chair), David Hiez, Chloé Kolb (Secretary), Alexandre Mortelette and Bineta Oosterhaven Ndoye (Treasurer and Vice-Chair). Two General Meetings were held in June and September 2025.
As regards the Luxembourg operational team, 2025 saw the appointment of seven new staff members:
Aurélia Roemers as Coordinator of the Food Transition Unit in Luxembourg.
Katie Eitler as Head of Global Citizenship Awareness and Education.
Rosanna Bianco as Administrative and Accounting Assistant.
Jérémy Loeung as Fundraising Communications Officer.
Sebastian Weier as Policy Advocacy Officer.
Erika Salbego as Educational Facilitator for the Teranga Project.
Juan Thibaut de Maisières as Teranga Coordination Officer.
2025 also saw the departure of five colleagues: Christine Putz, Marine Lefebvre, Francesca Savo, Marie-Noëlle Brigode, and Danielle Bruck. SOS Faim thanks them all for their commitment and wishes them all the best for the future.
As at 31 December 2025, the Luxembourg executive team comprised 14 staff members and 8 colleagues in Africa.
2025 was a baby boom year for our team, with three colleagues giving birth: a warm welcome to Marie-Ashley, Emile, and Lio!
