Three days of training organised by CEC-BM in Burkina Faso
From 14 to 16 May 2024, 44 farmers who are members of the Caisse d’épargne et de crédit de la Boucle du Mouhoun (Savings and Credit Cooperative of the Boucle du Mouhoun , CEC-BM) took part in a three-day training course on techniques for producing and using organic pesticides. This activity reflects the microfinance institution’s commitment to supporting small farmers while promoting sustainable agriculture.

This activity reflects the microfinance institution’s commitment to supporting small farmers while promoting sustainable agriculture.
The Caisse d’épargne et de crédit de la Boucle du Mouhoun (CEC-BM) operates mainly in rural areas, where three-quarters of its customers are active. The MFI is involved in the implementation of warrantage and plays a leading role in promoting the system and building storage facilities. CEC-BM also supports economic projects that respect the environment. SOS Faim and CEC-BM have been partners since 2018.
