Workshops and meetings organised by SOS Faim’s Partner Support Department in Benin
The SOS Faim team workshop, held in late November-early December 2024 in Benin, took place against a backdrop of strategic transition: the launch of a new framework agreement, the renewal of governing bodies, and the review of staff positions in West Africa. Bringing together teams from Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, the Partner Support Department in Schifflange and Delphine Dethier, the new director, this workshop was a key step in strengthening the cohesion of the multi-country team.

The workshop provided an opportunity to deepen understanding of the Change-Oriented Approach (COA) tools, discuss specific partnership cases and engage in joint reflection on the concept of support. The discussions were dynamic, constructive and enriched by a wide variety of experiences.
The friendly atmosphere, informal moments, visit to the SAIN farm and meetings with local partners fostered a real team dynamic. The workshop was hailed as a defining moment to be repeated, with a strong desire to continue this type of meeting in order to strengthen the common culture and collective practices of SOS Faim.
